About Nicola
I've been practising yoga for about 11 years, starting more seriously during my pregnancy with my daughter. Teaching wasn't my initial plan, but after a beginner's course, I decided to pursue it, and I'm so grateful I did. Yoga has changed how I see my whole world.
Reflect Yoga & Wellness was born from my desire to offer classes tailored to each student's journey to health and well-being. Starting my yoga training in 2016 and registering with Yoga Australia in 2017, I've completed over 500 hours of training and teaching, earning the level 2 teacher qualification. I've also qualified in pilates and meditation practices.
My teaching style focuses on gentle flows with options for all experience levels and mobility. With training in Yin and Restorative Yoga, I believe yoga is holistic, building strength and flexibility while fostering self-reflection and mindfulness. In pilates, I aim to connect body and mind, promoting stability and control.
I always encourage students to be mindful of their body and mind's needs throughout their practice, whether in yoga, pilates or meditation classes. At its core, yoga is about paying attention to the relationship between body and mind. Honouring these needs, whether getting on the mat or resting, is fundamental to the practice.
I would love to share a practice with you and am always happy to connect, so please feel free to contact me with any questions you have.
May our hearts be full of love and compassion, our words truthful and kind and may we see the beauty in this world.
